Define one event: Ready to Ship (RTS) with timestamp, measured or trusted weight/cube, pallet count, temperature if needed, and attached documents.

Integrate the door event, not only stock

You can have perfect inventory and still be Late on appointments/carriers. OTIF is warehouse AND transport.
4.Mistake: WMS go-live without dock rules
Huge 18:00 waves saturate doors. WMS must respect dock capacity the TMS already sold to the customer.
